History

Prior to fulfilling this purpose, this existed as the means to fulfill the following mission:

a values-based, virtual enterprise focussed on advancing the understanding and practice of enterprise-modeling

enterprise-modeling could be regarded as the innocuous cousin of enterprise-architecture, able to advance with greater agility because it does not carry the baggage which its poor cousin (ea) has as a millstone around its neck

the early life of this enterprise will be devoted to clearly defining its scope, its value, its utility, its component capabilities – in effect, modeling the enterprise of enterprise-modelling
